Parenchyma -1. it has living cells. 2. Cells contain cytoplasm. 3. Inter Cellular space is present. 4. Cell wall is thin. 5. There main function is synthesis and storage of food. Collenchyma-1. It has living cells. 2. Cells contain cytoplasm. 3. Intercellular space may or may not be present. 4. Cell wall is thick. 5. There main function is To provide support and elasticity to plant body. Sclerenchyma-1. It has dead cells. 2. Intercellular space is absent. 3. Cell wall is thick. 4. Cells are devoid of cytoplasm. 5. Their main function is to provide mechanical support.

PARENCHYMA:- It is a packing tissue. It consist of relatively unspecialised cell with thin cell wall. they are living cell. They are loosely packed. COLLENCHYMA:- It is flexible in plants . It allows easy bending in various parts of a plant. We found this tissue in leaf stalkers. SCLERENCHYMA:- The cell of this tissue are dead . Walls are thickened due to lining. There walls are so thick there are no internal space inside the cell.
