Radiations are the possible ways how the electron come to n=1.When we give it energy it get exicted and reach at infinity,in order to get stable it loose energy and release radiation of certain wavelength. In this process,it will come across with all the series such as bracket to paschen to balmer to lymer. Therefore the conclusion is the electron at last come to n=1 but by following all the series.
