Differnce beyween pungi and shesnai is Shehnai is more larger and broader than pugi. While paying it produce a malodious sound Aurangzeb banned pungi becouse of its shrill and unplesent sound

He banned it due to its shrill and unpleasant sound. A shehnai is a musical instrument. I t is different from pungi as it is made of a natural hollow stem and has holes on it. Its played like a flute.
