Fibre are the thin threads that is obtained from plants and animals.

The thin strands of thread that are made up of still thinner strands called fibres.

Fibres can be classified as natural fibres and synthetic fibres. These may be natural or synthetic filament that may be spun into yarn. Natural fibres are obtained from natural sources, i.e. plants and animals.
