We can know the presence of starch in a food items by the following terms or doing the following experiments- • first take a small amount of any food item into a test tube . • now pour some amount of water in it . • after that you have to pour 2-3 drops of costic soda in it. • then some drops of iodine solution also have to be poured . • if it's colour have changed into blue black then we can say that the food item contains some amount of starch in it. I AM NOT SURE BUT IT MAY BE
