The major difference between an entrepreneur and an employee are as follows :
ENTREPRENEUR :
(1) Meaning: An entrepreneur is a person who works for himself.
(2) Works for: An entrepreneur works for freedom.
(3) Risk factor: An entrepreneur faces high risk
(4) Terms of work: An entrepreneur himself decides his terms and conditions.
(5) Degree of freedom: Full freedom enjoyed by the entrepreneur.
(6) Reward: Entrepreneurs are rewarded with profits.
(7) Role played by them: Entrepreneurs are solution finders.
(8) Perspective: Entrepreneurs look into the future.
EMPLOYEE :
(1) Meaning: An employee is a person who works for others.
(2) Works for: An employee works for the security
(3) Risk factor: An employee faces no risk
(4) Terms of work: An employee works according to the terms and conditions laid down by his employer.
(5) Degree of freedom: An employee does not enjoy any freedom.
(6) Reward: Employee's reward is their salary.
(7) Role played by them: Employee's are problem solvers.
(8) Perspective: Employee's look into the past.
