Protein contains nitrogen hydrogen oxygen and sometimes sulphur. Protein has small molecules so they cannot get directly into over blood so they get converted into ammino acid. Protein is helpful in repairing of broken tisssue and formation of new muscles and tissues. Lack of protein can caused marasmas and kawashiorkar in children.Excessive intake of protein leads to heart disease
