We didn't know that what is share of R and we are given that R acquire 1/5 of his share from P And 4/25 share from Q So let R's share -x SO,x=1/5x+4/25 x-1/5x=4/25 Hence x become =1/5 Sacrifice of P=1/5×1/5=1/25 Sacrifice of Q=4/25 Hence sacrifising ratio=1:4 New shares- P=3/5-1/25=14/25 Q=2/5-4/25=6/25 R=1/5×5/5=5/25 Hence new ratio-14:6:5
