Advantages-
two crops can be grown at same time. for eg if we grow rice and fish together.
disadvantage-
these fish breed only during monsoon. lack of availability of good quality seeds.

1. Most of the fishes breed only during monsoon. 2. If all of them lay eggs at the same time, there will be a big problem to distinguish between those eggs. 3. There is a lack of good quality fish seeds available. To overcome these problems, various ways have been worked out to breed these fish in ponds using hormonal stipulation. Hope this helps!
