Hormones are made and secreted by specialised tissue in the body called endocrine glands. A gland which do not have duct or tube and secretes its product directly into blood stream is called endocrine gland. They make a chemical substance called hormones.
For Ex: Pituitary gland, Thyroid gland, adrenal gland etc.
Some of the gland in our body function both as exocrine as well as endocrine.
