Helmuth silberberg or Hello was reffered to as Harry Goldberg.He was a 16 year old boy whom Anne met one evening at her friends Eva's house . He lived in Holland with his grand parents while his parents lives in Belgium. Harry was a straight forward boy. He told Anne all kind of amuzing stories and in a week came quiet close to her. His simplicity won the heart of not only Anne but also of her family members. Harry inform Anne that his grand mother did not approve of Anne because Anne was very young and she wants Harry to go with another older girl name Fanny. But Anne's vibrant nature and light hearted spirit caught Harry's attention and he was no longer interested in Fanny. Harry also knew that how to please his grand parents.
In order to please his grand parents officially he pretended to go for wood carving lessons but in reality he had joined the zionist movement. Harry's young heart revolted against atrocities of the Germans and he became the regular visiter of meeting. Harry was not a fanatic and off late to see that the meeting were becoming a mess. He decide to quit attending them.
An enthusiastic,open minded and pleasant teenaged boy,Harry knew how to maintain relations in the life but also at the same time would follow his dream and make his life birth living.
