Differences
1. Teleconferencing is voice-only or audio-video communication,while video conferencing supports the conference by providing both the video and voice,so that you can absolutely see the person when you are listening to the communicator.
2. Teleconferencing is capable of transmitting the data during the conferencing either using traditional PBX systems or VoIP while video conferencing is offering VoIP services. The formal is less bandwidth intensive while the latter is heavily dependent on the networking broadband.
3. Apart from audio and video data transmitted during the conference that teleconferencing can provide,video conferencing can also enable you to share more information like files,applications,whiteboard and etc.
