Confused, he waited for a minute, wondering what to do. He was planning to visit his grandmother in the neighboring village. The travel took half an hour by bus and a ten minutes walk from the bus stop. As he wondered what to do, it stopped raining and started becoming sunny once again. It was then that he saw a rainbow in the sky. He stood admiring it for a long time. Suddenly, he remembered that he had to go to the bus stop soon. The last bus to his grandmother’s village would leave in an hour. He ran to his room and picked up an umbrella. He hurriedly locked the door and made his way to the bus stop.
Although it was not raining, the road was slushy and dirty. He walked carefully to avoid stepping on the muddy puddles. Some people in the bus stand made fun of him for carrying an umbrella. Although he felt sad at the comments, he did not show it. He only thought of the lovely time he would spend with his grandmother. When he reached the bus stop at her village, it was raining heavily. He was now happy that he had brought his umbrella along. He would not get wet by the time he walked to his grandmother’s home.
