A mercury column with a lenth 10cm is in the middle of a horizontal tube with a lenth 210 cm closed at both ends . If the tube is placed vertically,the mercury column will shift through the distance 10cm from it initial position .
At what distance will the centre of Kollam be from the middle of the tube (a)if one end of the tube placed horizontally is open to atmosphere(b) if the upper and of the tube placed vertically is open to atmosphere(c) if the lower and of the tube placed vertically open to atmosphere
( take atmospheric pressure =100cm of hg)
