Yes Patol Babu was a meticulous man. This is proven by the rehersal he does with only one word "OH"! Also, he practises his emotions and facial expressions when he will collide. Being an experienced actor, he adds to his role by asking the director to take a newspaper so that he appears absent minded. Also he calculates the steps he will have to take in order to collide at the given point. These examples prove that he was a meticulous man. Hope this helps you ?
