Dr sadao proved that first he is a seorgen and then he is patriotic Japanese. When he saw the American soldier in uncontious condition he treated and cured him first and then decided to hand the enemy to the japenese police, he told every thing to general and ready to not object if the American POW was shooted. But after the failure of his try to hand him to the police he decided to help him in escaping. He told him to go to island to escape from there. He helped him in escaping by arranging a boat for him and some food, water bottle, cloths, etc. He also gave him a torch to gave signal if he has a shortage of food. So, In this way he proves than firstly he was a surgeon and then a patriotic japenese.....??
