Poet compares so because their life have many similarities. At the beginning of Brook's journey ,he is very much energetic and full of excitement but at the end of the journey Brook's journey becomes slow and boring. The same thing happens in the life of man also.They both faces the same difficulties and have many ups and downs in their life
