M hamel in his last lesson justified that french was the most beautiful and logical of all the languages in the world. On the day of his last lesson he tries to give all the knowledge he has. He was very disappointed that french would not be taught any more in alsace and Lorraine. On the last day of his lesson everyone came to pay an honour gor 40years of his service.
