As mentioned in bimolecules chapter(chemistry) Human being can't digest cellulose Because human stomach doesn't have any enzyme capable of breaking cellulose molecules, like ruminant mammals (cow,deer,etc.) which have cellulolytic bacteria present in their stomach(rumen) which break down cellulose with the help of enzyme CELLULASE
