    Graphite has a ring which contains 3 carbon so it not completes tetrahedral so unstable and can give ē which is not the case with diamond which has complete tetrahedral

    Because it don't hv any free electrons. But another allotroph of carbon ie graphite, which is a very good conductor of electricity because it has free electrons.
