A Colloid (or colloidal solution) is a solution in which the size of the particles are intermediate between those in true solutions and those in suspensions. Examples:Blood,Milk Jelly etc. A suspension is a heterogeneous mixture in which the small particles of the solid (solute) remain separate throughout the liquid (solvent) without dissolving in it. Examples :Milk of Magnesia,Muddy water,Flour in water etc.

A suspension' is a heterogeneous mixture that contains solid particles sufficiently large for sedimentation. A solution in which a material is evenly suspended in a liquid is called collide solution.
