Lead oxide is used in lead paintings and Lead statues when they expressed to air for long time lead oxide react with hydrogen sulphide which is found in the air and form lead sulphide which is black in colour when lead sulphide reacts with hydrogen peroxide then white lead sulphide is formed and paintings again comes in its original form
