There were quite a few reasons why Mr Griffin, the invisible man chose Mr Marvel as his helper. The following are some of them.One of them was that Griffin wanted someone who was just like him. Mr Marvel fit the bill perfectly. Like Griffin, Marvel was a tramp and also considered an outcast among people. Moreover, he had the same temperament as Griffin.Another reason was that Griffin realized that Marvel was a simpleton who would not notice that Griffin was actually invisible. Burdened with his own problems, Marvel had no time to be inquisitive. Also, he did not have the courage to question Griffin.
