Immediate Causes Contributory Causes
Factors which are directly responsible for a particular disease are called immediate causes. Factors which provide favourable conditions which make pathogens invasion easy are called contributory causes.
Example: Pathogens such as virus, bacteria, fungi, etc. Example: poor nourishment, unhygienic environment, pollutants, etc.
