The size of image formed by a concave mirror can be smaller or larger or the same size as the object . It depends on the position of object in front of the concave mirror . For the position it is upside down that is inverted and can be obtained on the screen except at the position when the object is placed very closed to the mirror . The image formed is larger than the object and cannot be obtained on the screen and hence it is virtual . The image which can be obtained on the screen is called real image .
