  1. Real images can be produced by concave mirrors and converging lenses, only if the object is placed further away from the mirror/lens than the focal point. 
  2. A real image is that image which is formed when the light rays coming from an object actually meet each other after reflection or refraction.
  3. A real image can be obtained on the screen.
  4. The real image is always inverted.
  5. The common example of real image is the image formed on the cinema screen.
