Diversity enriches our life as it represents an amalgamation of various  cultures, habits, beliefs that are acquired over ages.

  • Diversity helps the people to communicate and learn from one other people of diverse races, ethnic origins, beliefs and social groups.
  • It helps us respect other people and not just our own type of people.
  • It encourages people to live, have a broader mindset and adjust in the society.
  • Diversity also makes an individual tolerant.
  • A common example can be the religious aspect differentiation. A person visiting the temple can also visit a Church and vice versa.

Electronic configuration of an element gives the information of valence electrons and number of shell present in the element. We get the information of group number after knowing valence electrons.

The number of shells present in an element is equal to the period number. Thus, by knowing electronic configuration we know the group number and period number of an element, and the position of an element in the periodic table.

Electrostatic Shielding

Electric field inside a cavity in a conductor is always zero. Even if the conductor is charged or charges are induced on a neutral conductor by an external field, all charges reside only on the outer surface of the conductor. Hence, the any cavity of any shape and size is always shielded from outer electric influence. This is called electrostatic shielding.
