Bro, mood toh kisi ka nahi hota ....but I have to do u know, ohk every people have different reason for there study...I give one example, if u have completed ur whole syllabus, but u didn't revised it then, at last point ur competitor (if u have any) will come first....having all the possibility of getting a good marks but won't be....So , if u imagine the exact senario happens on ur mind....then automatically u get a kind of fear in ur mind of losing from it...As a result.. at that time, u won't be think about ur mood...and u will start ur study.......so in this way, u can beat up ur mood....

Because electric field lines must be perpendicular to the surface of conductor, otherwise there would be a non zero component of electric field along the surface of conductor and charges could not be at rest.

Madhu Rai 6 years, 1 month ago

The work done in moving a charge on a conductor is zero and if the field lines will not be perpendicular they will have non zero components and hence the Work done won't be zero then

Just sharing my experience In Class 10, my English teacher gave me the format of writing LETTER in English exam. But just one day before my Board Exam, i saw here that DATE was written in another format & Subject was written above! I got confused & decided to follow the application on the Exam day. Despite having English my Strongest subject, i got 92 only. And my marks were cut in the format of LETTER which i checked from the application. So, my suggestion is to follow your teachers or books more than the application, and using it only for little help. Regards Soumya?

[A] if dipole is placed along electric field then Fnet=qE-qE=0 i.e.,there is no any translatory motion. Also both force are passing through same line, hence the dipole will not rotate .torque=0 [B] If dipole is placed at an angle thita with uniform electric field then There is no any translatory motion. But both forces are not passing through same line, Hence the dipole will rotate. Torque =force×perpendicular distance =qE×2lsine thita =PEsine thita Torque = P×E For torque max Thita=90° For torque min Thita=0°
