Muskan Rattan 5 years, 6 months ago

Disarmament is the process of reducing or eliminating military forces and weapons through cooperation, treaties, and oversight. OR Disarmament is not something that can be easily defined in a few words. In truth, there are four key parts to it: Reduction in quantity of military items Formal meeting and treaty to achieve Emphasis on weapons and tools Body or group overseeing the process These four parts lead to a detailed definition, and a detailed plan of action as well. Disarmament is usually focused on weapons, but can include other areas, such as tools and technologies.

Indias nuclear policy was on 1974 means first nuclear test and all was done on that yr

Muskan Rattan 5 years, 6 months ago

India has opposed International treaties aimed at non proliferation because they were selectively applicable to the non nuclear powers and legitimised the monopoly of live nuclear weapon powers .Thus India opposed the indefinite extension of the NPT in 1995 and refused to sign thr CTCB . India conducted a series of nuclear tests in may 1998 , demonstrating its capacity to use vulnerability of the region to a nuclear exchange .The international community was extremely critical of the nuclear tests in the subcontinent and sanctions were imposed on both INDIA and PAKISTAN which were subsequently waived . India's nuclear doctrine of credible minimum nuclear deterrence professes "NO FIRST USE" and reiterates India's commitment to global , verifiable and non discriminatory nuclear disarmament , leading to a nuclear weapon-free world

Found by poti sriramulu....

Yogita Ingle 5 years, 6 months ago

Vishala Andhra movement was started which demanded Telugu speaking areas be seperated from Madras as nearly all the political forces were in favour of it.
Potti Sriramulu, a Congress leader and a veteran Gandhian went on an indefinite fast and ultimately died after 56 days. This caused great unrest and resulted in violent outburst. Even legislators had also resigned from their seats. As a result of these events formation of a separate Andhra state was announced in December 1952.
