After the cold war ,tensions, conflicts and confrontation arose in both countries ,USA as well as in USSR .Arms race was started and nuclear weapons were used widely . Alliances were created of both countries ,Eastern and Western alliance.Moreover the world was divided into two parts and every small and independent country would like to join with any one of the group for their safety and for financial and military aid.

Hyderabad was the richest of the princely states of india. Nawab of Hyderabad was one of the richest persons in the world.Due to this reason nawab did not want to integrate with india and wanted to remain as an independent state. But indian government 's desire was to unite Hyderabad with india as it was surrounded by Indian territory all around .Nawab was very cruel to his people die to this people especially women starred protesting against him. He ordered razakaras to stop them from protesting by harsh methods applying on them as they wanted to join india but nawab did not want .Hence, government imposed army control over Hyderabad and finally nawab signed the instrument of accession and integrated with india

Cood war was not only a ideological conflict because of the following reasons- 1- Arms race- there was a competition of manufacturing nuclear weapons between the two superpowers they also tried to outdo each other in arms race 2- Satellite race- the two superpowers usa and USSR use much of its economy in the development of satellite however ussr was the first by putting first sattelite and usa was the first to put man on the moon
