Question Answers Explain the causes of the Cold i) It is the open, but constrained, conflict between the United States and the Soviet Union and their respective allies that emerged after World War II. ii) It was enforced on political, economical, and support the expansion and had only limited use of weapons. iii) After the second world war, it began. It began after the surrender of Nazi Germany in 1945. Complete answer: There were several causes identified by the Historians that led to the Outbreak of the cold war, including: -At the conclusion of World War II, tensions between the two countries. -The conflict of ideology or philosophy between both the United States and the Soviet Union. -The emergence of atomic weapons, and the fear of United States communism. The biggest advantage of the Cold War was that they could guard their national interests inline with their political, religious and cultural environments. They were free to combine themselves with any of the super power and use it to their advantage. In several ways, the Cold War altered American culture. Fear of communism was greatly increased due to the rising tensions with the Soviet union. India plays a very important role in bringing down the temperature in hot conflicts like korean War.
