Because electrostatic force will be strong at small distances. And the electric field due to dipole related to distance is E is directly proportional to 1/r^3.

It means that charge can only be given in a fixed quantity we can't give charges such as 1.5,4.7,6.8,etc. It should be integral multiple of a basic unit of charge. Hope it helps

The magnitude of electrostatic force is 540N. We know that the electrostatic force between two charged particle is given by the formula that is f is equal to K Q1 Q2 by R square where R is the distance and Q1 and Q2 is the charge you must take distance ine in metre here the distance is 10 centimetre then you have to to change the centimetre in metre that is 0.1 metre. And here the coulomb is in micro coulomb then and one micro coulomb is equal to 10 to power minus 6 coulomb. And put all the the values in the formula you have got answer thanks.

Both are correct Lekin agar tum is centroid pe negative rahoge toh equilibrium jagyega lekin jalat ho gayega . Jab Bhi test charge liya Jata Hai To positive liya jata hai.

This is so because protons cannot move freely . So because of this electrons have to move from ground to neutralize the protons of the metal sphere.

Before doing the experiment the net charge on the glass rod and Silk is zero but after the experiment does glass rod acquires a charge 1.6 x 10 raise to the power minus 13c and the Silk acquire a charge -1.6 multiply 10 raise to the power minus 13c so both items have same magnitude of charge but opposite charge.

Fundamental particles it means that smallest particle of the atom. Nowadays there are three fundamental particles are present in the nature that is proton electron and neutron but the smallest particle which is also present in the world that is quark. The quirk divided into two part first part is upward quark and the second part is down quark. Its value is plus 2e/3 and -e/3 respectively.

Priya Bungla 5 years, 5 months ago

Fundamental particles are electrons, protons, neutrons and photons

Vishal Pratap Singh Vishal 5 years, 5 months ago

In particle physics, an elementary particle or fundamental particle is a subatomic particle with no sub structure, i.e. it is not composed of other particles. Particles currently thought to be elementary include the fundamental fermions (quarks, leptons, antiquarks, and antileptons), which generally are "matter particles" and "antimatter particles", as well as the fundamental bosons (gauge bosons and the Higgs boson), which generally are "force particles" that mediate interactions among fermions. A particle containing two or more elementary particles is called a composite particle. Ordinary matter is composed of atoms, once presumed to be elementary particles-atom meaning "unable to cut" in Greek-although the atom's existence remained controversial until about 1910, as some leading physicists regarded molecules as mathematical illusions, and matter as ultimately composed of energy. 11/12 Subatomic constituents of the atom were identified in the early 1930s; the electron and the proton, along with the photon, the particle of electromagnetic radiation.l11 At that time, the recent advent of quantum mechanics was radically altering the conception of particles, as a single particle cloud seemingly span a field as would a wave, a paradox still eluding satisfactory explanation.

Take a curved path and take a point on it make a tangent on that. The tangent give you the direction of electric field. If electric field lines intersect each other at a common point in that point we are able to draw two tangent which is not possible to give the two direction at a same point which is impossible to decide at the same time to go in both the direction

Vivek Chaurasia 5 years, 5 months ago

The tangent drawn on a field line gives the direction of electric field at any point the intersection of two different directions on a same point which is not possible thats why it cannot intersect at each other..

Vishal Pratap Singh Vishal 5 years, 5 months ago

the tangent drawn on a field line gives the direction of electric field at ANY POINT if the intersect the show two different eirection on same point hope it help full

@ayush vish... Can uh plz send me the solu..bcoz if we kept negative charge at the centroid then it will repel from all three sides n got stable ...in both cases i think its correct

Ayush Vishwakarma?? 5 years, 5 months ago

Not vegetable it is charge.

Ayush Vishwakarma?? 5 years, 5 months ago

Keep the same charge + q because if you keep the charge on the centroid of a triangle then it is the repel by the three charges which is present vertex of an equilateral triangle the two charges from the bottom vegetable on the test charge cross on the centroid which gives 1 resultant and from the upper charge it repel down so the upper and down resultant is same in magnitude so it cancel each other and become the equilibrium.

Vivek Chaurasia 5 years, 5 months ago

If same charges +q are kept at vertices of an equilateral triangle at charge is at center so net charge is 0

There are three methods of charging first is induction in which body is charged without touching the object to be charged and charged object ,the second one is charging by conduction in which uncharged object comes in contact with charged object and the last one is charging by friction in which a body is charged by rubbing it with another body.

Coulomb’s law states that Force exerted between two point charges:

  • Is inversely proportional to square of the distance between these charges and
  • Is directly proportional to product of magnitude of the two charges
  • Acts along the line joining the two point charges.

F = k q1q2/r2  where k = 1/4πε0

So, F=1/4πε0 q1q2/r2

Here ε0 = 8.854 x 10-12 C2 N-1 m-2is called permittivity of free space.
