Answer~~ In a paramagnetic material, the magnetization of the material is directly proportional to an applied magnetic field. However, if the material is heated, this proportionality is reduced: for a fixed value of the field, the magnetization is inversely proportional to temperature. Regards.??

Kirchoffs Voltage Law (KVL) states that the algebraic sum of the voltages across any set of branches in a closed loop is zero. i.e. ... The assumed current creates a voltage across each resistor and fixes the position of the + and - signs so that the passive sign convention is obeyed.

Yogita Ingle 5 years, 3 months ago

According to Kirchhoff’s Voltage Law, The voltage around a loop equals to the sum of every voltage drop in the same loop for any closed network and also equals to zero.

When you begin at any point of the loop and continue in the same direction, note the voltage drops in all the direction either negative or positive and return to the same point. It is essential to maintain the direction either counterclockwise or clockwise; else the final voltage value will not be equal to zero. The voltage law can also be applied in analyzing circuits in series.

When either AC circuits or DC circuits are analysed based on Kirchhoff’s circuit laws, you need to be clear with all the terminologies and definitions that describe the circuit components like paths, nodes, meshes, and loops.

Kirchhoff voltage rule is state that in the system the sum of all the voltage is zero.you can take any loop clockwise or anti clockwise.in the system. With emf.

Emf of cell is defined as when the circuit is open then the potential difference of two end is called emf .or when the current is not flow in the circuit is called emf. Emf give the accurate value of potential difference of battery in volt.

Reduce od eddy current

Yogita Ingle 5 years, 3 months ago

The core in transformers is laminated to reduce the effect of eddy currents. The core is formed in form of thin sheets or laminas which are coated with an insulated materials and many such sheets are used together to form the laminated core of transformer. This increase the resistance between the sheets and confines the eddy currents to the individual sheets.

If two glass rods after rubbing with silk, hang near to each other, then they repel each other, figure (a)]. In the same way, two ebonite rods after rubbing with the cat’s skin hang near to each other, then they also repel to each other, [figure].

But when glass rod after rubbing with silk and ebonite rod after rubbing with cat’s skin hang near to each other, then they attract to each other, (figure (c)]. It is clear that charges on a glass rod and ebonite rod are the opposite. It means that charges are of two types. Charges present in the glass rod are called a positive charge or vitreous and charges present in the ebonite rod are called a negative charge or resinous.

Anshuman Mishra 5 years, 3 months ago

Types of charge: positive (which is the same as vitreous), and negative (which is the same as resinous).

“AC GENERATORS OR ALTERNATORS”: AC generator, also known as alternators, is a machine that converts mechanical energy into electrical energy. The generated electrical energy is in the form of an alternating current sinusoidal output waveform. The mechanical energy is usually supplied by steam turbines, gas turbines, and combustion engines. AC generators work on the principle of Faraday’s law of electromagnetic induction which states that electromotive force(EMF) or voltage is generated in a current-carrying conductor that cuts a uniform magnetic field. This can either be achieved by rotating a conducting coil in a static magnetic field, or by rotating the magnetic field that contains the stationary conductor. The preferred arrangement is to keep the coil stationary because it is easier to draw induced alternating current from a stationary armature coil than a rotating coil. The generated EMF depends on the number of armature coil turns, magnetic field strength, and the speed of the rotating field. The various components of an AC generator are: 1)Field 2)Armature 3)Prime Mover 4)Rotor 5)Stator 6)Slip Rings. HoPe It HeLpS yOu??
