Light of different wavelengths, or colours, travels at different speeds when they travel through any medium other than vacuum. Red light travels faster than blue in glass.So the speed of light dependent on the color or wavelength of light in glass.

An electron is a negatively charged subatomic particle. It can be either free or not attached to any atom or bound to the nucleus of an atom. Electrons in atoms exist in spherical shells of various radii, representing energy levels. Each electron carries one unit of negative charge (1.602 x 10-19 coulomb) and has a very small mass as compared with that of a neutron or proton.

Polaroid is a material usually plastic which allows light to pass but only where the wave oscillates in one particular orientation. This orientation is called the reference direction.
Polaroid is a type of plastic sheet that can polarize a transmitted beam of normal light because it is composed of long parallel molecules. P-N junction diode is a two terminal,unidirectional electronics device. When one side of an intrinsic semiconductor is doped with acceptor i.e, one side is made p-type by doping with n-type material, a p-n junction diode is formed.It works in forward biased condition.
