Gauss's law states that the net flux of an electric field through a closed surface is proportional to the enclosed electric charge.It relates the electric fields at points on a closed surface (known as a Gaussian surface) and the net charge enclosed by that surface.
Another statement of Gauss's law is that the net flux of an electric field through a surface divided by the enclosed charge is equal to a constant.

The phase difference is the difference in the phase angle of the two waves. Path difference is the difference in the path traversed by the two waves. The relation between phase difference and path difference is direct. They are directly proportional to each other.
