Principle is multiple total internal reflection( tir). Optical fibre has an inner core and an outer covering or jacket also known as cladding. The refractive index of cladding a little less than that of the inner core , thus inner core is optically denser than cladding. An optical signal is projected at core such that it strikes cladding withan angle more than that of critical angle for the pair of refracting media, due to which it undergoes tir and then again on striking surface of cladding, it undergoes tir. Thus multiple tir takes place and signal is received at the other end of cable.

Do not ever go for suicide or any wrong step. Life is very long and there are problems at every step. Dont fear from them. Try to find solutions and no one can stop you from getting success. Who actually get success in life are those who have faced challenges and overcome them .....for ur answer, i would first suggest be happy, calm and mentally prepare urself for hard work. Physics takes a bit more of concentration and hard work but it doesnt means its impossible to do. Anyone can do it. Second thing is make one plan. Do easiest chapters first which will at least make you passed then go for slight difficult ones. I ll suggest that first go for second book u cn complete it soon. Then do em waves of first book. And then start from chapter 1 of first book in a sequence. Solve ncert all questions additional exercise and examples esp. dont leave any of them.
