Light from the sun get scattered by large no. of molecules in the earth's atmosphere.As scatterer(x)<< wavelength (lamda) Therefore intensity of scattered light is inversly proportional to lamda ki power 4 .Since wavelength of blue color is shorter than red therefore blue color is scatter much mote strongly . Hence sky appears blue.

Maxwell assumed that some sort of current must be flowing between the capacitor plates during charging process. He named it displacement current. Current which comes into play in a region due to changing electric field o electric flux with time is turned as displacement current. Properties of EM Waves — 1. These are transverse in nature. 2. These are produced by accelerating or oscillating charge. 3. These waves do not require medium for their propagation. 4.
