Yes they surely can if the magnitude of charge on one object is greater/lesser on the second object.Consider two spheres -:Sphere A and Sphere B.Let’s say Sphere A has 10C charge will Sphere B has 4C charge then Sphere A can induce negative charges on B due to induction and can attract it.For greater clarification read this.

Ujjawal Sharma 7 years, 11 months ago

Ok

Isaac Kartik 7 years, 11 months ago

Yes.if one charge is point charge and another is infinitly large

Bhumi Jain 7 years, 11 months ago

Because if they differ in size/volume it means one is having more positive charge than other tht os why they get attracted

Ujjawal Sharma 7 years, 11 months ago

How they attract

Ankush Saini 7 years, 11 months ago

Yes . If one charge is large and another is smaller

Abc Efg 7 years, 11 months ago

Yess.. If there Volume are different...

Ujjawal Sharma 7 years, 11 months ago

Total internal reflection

Abc Efg 7 years, 11 months ago

What is TIR ??

Ujjawal Sharma 7 years, 11 months ago

I mean at less incidence angle than in water

Ujjawal Sharma 7 years, 11 months ago

Because TIR occur fast in diamond

Abc Efg 7 years, 11 months ago

Yess.. I think u r correct.. Diamond has less critical angle.. Thanks ?

Ujjawal Sharma 7 years, 11 months ago

Diamond has less critical angle

The main application of p-n junction diode is in rectification circuits. These circuits are used to describe the conversion of a.c signals to d.c in power supplies. Diode rectifier gives an alternating voltage which pulsates in accordance with time. The filter smoothes the pulsation in the voltage and to produce d.c voltage, a regulator is used which removes the ripples. There are two primary methods of diode rectification: Half Wave Rectifier Full Wave Rectifier

Abc Efg 7 years, 11 months ago

In an electronic circuit a diode acts in the same as a rubber valve in a bicycle tire. The valve allows the pumped air to enter from one side and blocks from the other . Similarly a rectifier diode allows the flow of current only through one direction.

when we put dielectric slab between two plates of capacitor it get ionized, ionization lead more charge storage inside dielectric, thus more storage in capacitor hence we can say capacitance is increased

I mean to say that she can also read the same content in sl arora.....there is no use to ask that question here

Bhumi Jain 7 years, 11 months ago

As such there is no such rule in board that you have to write ans from specified book it only sees that ans is correct or not...

Bhumi Jain 7 years, 11 months ago

I refer that book only so it means i have given ans from that. So what's about copying .you are learning by own or prefering some book

Urvi Sahu 7 years, 11 months ago

Bhumi's whole content has been copied from sl arora

Urvi Sahu 7 years, 11 months ago

Komii you asked for principle.... and principle is that only....

Bhumi Jain 7 years, 11 months ago

A charged particle can be accelerated to very high energies by making it pass through a moderate electric field a number of times. This can be done with the help of a perpendicular magnetic field which throws the charged particle into a circular motion, the frequency of which does not depend on the speed of the particle and the radius of the circular orbit.

Abc Efg 7 years, 11 months ago

Can Anyone try another answer.. I think it's not perfect..

Urvi Sahu 7 years, 11 months ago

Cyclotron works on the principle that a charged particle moving normal to a magnetic field experiences magnetic lorentz force due to which the particle moves in a circular path.

Abc Efg 7 years, 11 months ago

Sorry my mistake principle.. Now u give answer

Urvi Sahu 7 years, 11 months ago

Principal or principle

According to Darwins theory of natural selection the role of individual organisms is to pass on the necessary variations, changes or mutation that has been selected by the native, from present generation to the next.

According to Darwin, fitness refers ultimaterly and only to reproductive fitness. Those who are better fit in an environment, leave more progeny than others.

Abc Efg 7 years, 11 months ago

Refractive index of glass wrt water is less than wrt to air. Hence angle of deviation is less. Hence dispersive power is less.

Abc Efg 7 years, 11 months ago

Angle of minimum deviation = Dm = (μ - 1) A, where A is the angle of prism. μ = refractive index of glass of prism wrt to air or water as the case may be. Refractive index of glass wrt water is less than wrt to air. Hence angle of deviation is less. Hence dispersive power is less.

Moving of electron is called current

Abc Efg 7 years, 11 months ago

When a charged capacitor is connected to an inductor then it behaves like a battery and flows current according to stored energy in itself due to that oscillation of energy starts between capacitor and inductor. This phenomenon is known as LC oscillation
