Nd remember inductor does not block AC. .. .. Got it!

Ayush Gupta 7 years, 10 months ago

Inductor is preferred to regulate ac because when we pass current in it it opposees the flow of current due to self_induction and current regulates

Lekha Raj 7 years, 10 months ago

I think Pranjali ....u r correct

Pranjali Mahajan 7 years, 10 months ago

I think this will be the answer Capacitor blocks dc Resistor blocks any current Inductor must be blocking ac

A diagram that represent the alternating current and voltage of same frequency as rotating vector along with proper angle between them is called phasor diagram

Asim Khan 7 years, 10 months ago

Phasor is a vector that represents a sinusoidally varying current and/or voltage whose time period, amplitude and angular velocity are time dependent. A phasor diagram is drawn to show the phasor relationship between voltage and current in an AC circuit. The phasor diagram is drawn corresponding to time zero along the horizontal axis. The lengths of the phasors are proportional to the values of the voltage and the current at the instant in time. From the diagram we can easily find out whether the current and voltage are in phase or one of them is lagging behind. Hope it helps!! Best wishes..
