It states that force of attraction and repulsion between two charges is directly proportional to product of charges are inversely proportional to square of distance between them. F proportional to q1.q2 F proportional to 1/r^2 According to the law That is F proportional to q1.q2 /r^2 To remove the proportionality sign we substitute k which is equal to 1/4¶€°=k [ which is equal to 9×10^9 Nm^2 /C^2] AND €°=8.854×10^-19 That is F=1/4¶€° [ q1.q2 /r^2] If €r Is relative permittivity of a medium (in air value of €r is equal to 1) F=1/4¶€°€r [ q1.q2 /r^2] P. S: ¶=pi €°= Epsilon 0 €r= Epsilon r K= constant of proportionality And absolute permittivity in free space = to 1/4¶€°=k ☺️☺️☺️

Mutual induction : it is a phenomenon in which, when a current is passed through 1st coil , then mag.field produced around it but magnetic flux linked with coil 2 changes and emf is induced in 2 nd coil and vice versa

Ishu Chouhan 8 years, 1 month ago

Self induction:-it is a property of a coil by virtue of which it delay in growth or decay of current due to change in magnetic flux linked with coil
