Resistivity decreases with increase in temperature because (n) charge density increases and relaxation time also increases. But the increase in (n) is more compensated then increase in relaxation time.

Working of potentiometer is based on the fact that the fall of potential across any portion of the wire is directly praporsnal to the length of that portion provided the wire is of uniform area of cross-section and a constant current is flowing through it.

When a lens is placed in a liquid of less refractive index then the refractive index of material of lens, the nature of lens changes. That is, a converging lens behaves as a diverging lens or vice versa. Or you can say sign of focal length changes. Hope this will help you!!!
