March 1 se hone wala tha class 12 ka par abb wapis lockdown lag raha hai sab jagah par toh koi fixed date naii hai... Most of the school's mai 15 se shyd chalu karne wale hai...but no confirmation yet from cbse or schools

Let a ray from medium 1 (rarer) to enter medium 2(denser) such that refractive index occurs, now, Using snell's law, n1 sin i = n2 sin r where i is angle lf incidence and r is angle of refraction. Now since total internal reflection is occuring here, angle r = 90° Using this in snells law we get, n1 sin i = n2 ic = critical angle (ic) here, sin ic=(n2/n1) since n(refractive index) = speed of ray in vaccum / speed in medium, Therefore, sin ic= (c/v1)/(c/v2) = v2/v1 Therefore critical angle = v2/v1
