For example if two same charge placed at some distance then at the mid point of line joining (even any point on perpendicular bisector) the electric field will be zero but there must be some electric potential..i think you understand now..??

Electriv field may be 0 at a point where electric potential is not 0 because electric field is a vector quantity whereas potential is scalar quantity
