To maintain net charge on circuit is zero

Rishabh Sahu 7 years, 2 months ago

Electric current is defined as flow of positive charges conventionally. Hence when a circuit is completed only the free electrons which can flow ,flow due to generated field. This is equivalent to flow of positive charges in opposite direction . But the positive charges actually do not flow .

Abhinav Sharma 7 years, 2 months ago

Actually the convention here is that the electric current here is treated as positively charged , and because of this out flows opp to the direction of elections.

Because we have to take perpendicular distance of point from wire which is sin theta ,,.....watch the diagram carefully and think what is dsin¢

Pooja Sharma 7 years, 2 months ago

Because this is for small magnetic field so taken small angle and we know that for small angle sin angle tends to its angle value

It means charge transfered is integral multiple of e. Charge is not transfered in fraction

Azmat Ali 7 years, 2 months ago

Quantization of charge means " Total charge on a body is equal to the integral multiple of electronic charge " i.e. q= ne Where q = total charge on the body And n = an integer ( 2, 3 etc) And e = charge of an electron / electronic charge .

Abd Fan 7 years, 2 months ago

It means charge on a body is an integral multiple of the electronic charge
