Potentiometer is better device than voltmeter . 1. When voltmeter is fitted it draws certain current for its own operation. Therefore current in the main circuit decrease and hence potential difference gives lesser reading. 2. In potieometer the reading is taken when current is zero hence there is no potential less.

It is easier to pull a lawn roller than to push it.....we can explain this using the resolution of forces. ... it is because when we pull/push a lawn mower, we apply a force in the direction of its handle which is at an angle with the ground.... So there is always a component of force normal to the ground.

Frequency doesn't change because it depends on travelling of waves across the interface. But speed and wavelength change as the material on the other side may be different, so now it might have a longer/shorter size of wave and so the number of waves per unit time changes.

It remains same because for a plane charge sheet force depend on sima, charge and area. F=qE F=q×sigma/esinnot Because for a plane sheet E=sigma/esinnot Therefore,F=q×q/Aesinnot. Because,sigma=q/A Hance F do not depend on the distance of charge.terefoe the value of F do not change with diatance it remains same. I hope my answer is right.

Potentiometer is a device used to compare the e.m.f. (electromotive force) of two cells, to measure the internal resistance of a cell, and potential difference across a resistor.
The potentiometer works on the principle that when a constant current flows through a wire of uniform cross sectional area, potential difference between its two points is directly proportional to the length of the wire between the two points.
