Solenoid is a hollow circular ring having large number of turns of insulated copper wire on it .

Bhupesh Aithani 7 years, 2 months ago

Overlaping of wires on a cylendrical structure is called solonoid B=u0nI N =n2*3.14*r N/2*3.14*r=nI B =uo/2*3.14*NI/r Where l is length, and n is no. Of turns per unit length and N is total no of turns and B is magnatic field inside solonoid

The nature of physical quantity is described by nature of its dimensions. When we observe an object, the first thing we notice is the dimensions. In fact, we are also defined or observed with respect to our dimensions that is, height, weight, the amount of flesh etc. The dimension of a body means how it is relatable in terms of base quantities.

Lenz's law states that, If an induced current flows, its direction is always such that it will oppose the change which produced it.

Akshat Sharma 7 years, 2 months ago

According to lenz law, induced current will appear in such a direction that it will oppose the change in magnetic flux which is responsible for itsinduction.

Sunil Yadav 7 years, 2 months ago

Lenz's law, named after the physicist Emil Lenz who formulated it in 1834, states that the direction of the current induced in a conductor by a changing magnetic field is such that the magnetic field created by the induced current opposes the initial changing magnetic field.

from t=0 to t=3s =(30cm/10cmsec^-1). the flux through the coil is 0. From t=3s to t=5s the flux through coil increase from 0 to [0.1X{(20÷100)}^2] Wb I.e. 0.004 Wb. From t=5s to t=11s the flux remains constant at the value of 0.004 Wb . from t=11s to t=13s the flux decrease and becomes zero . (i) E=-dfie/dt= slope= 0.004/2 =2×10^-3. (ii) i= E/R=2×10^-3/0.1 =20mH
