According to wave theory :
(i) The maximum kinetic energy of the emitted electron should be directly proportional to the intensity of incident radiations, but it is not observed experimentally. Also the maximum kinetic energy of the emitted electrons should not depend upon incident frequency according to wave theory, but it is not so.
(ii) Electron emission should take place at all frequencies of radiations, i.e. there should not exist the threshold frequency. This fact contradicts experimental observation.
(iii) There should be a time lag in photo electric emission but according to observation photo electric emission is instantaneous.

Suppose a rod of length L and area of cross section a is taken one battery is connected to the rod such that one terminal the rod is heated the electrons will vibrate and will move to the other end of other rod such that when a a difference is developed between two terminals of the rod then the current start flowing . hence when potential difference develops then the current flows. According to ohm's law V is directly proportional to I

It is commonly denoted by the symbol B. In SI units, the magnetic flux density is measured in teslas (T) and correspondingly magnetic flux is measured in weber (Wb) so that a flux density of one Wb/m² is one tesla. In Gaussian-CGS units, magnetic flux density is measured in gauss (G).

The ratio of sin of angle of incident and sin of angle of refraction is always equal to speed of light in medium one with respect to speed of light in medium two is called Snell'Law. Note :-Number of refraction =number of Snell's law.

Priyanka Malik 7 years, 3 months ago
