Magnetic field lines are never interspt each other

Himanshi Rajput 4 years, 3 months ago

1)outside, they originate from north pole and terminate into south pole and direction revers inside. 2) they form closed loops 3) 2 magnetic field lines do not intersect each other

The capacitor blocks DC because there is no electrical connection between the 2 electrodes; rather there is a vacuum or an insulator.

Electromagnetic waves travel with speed of light. They does not require any medium. Electromagnetic waves are transverse in nature i.e. they are perpendicular to their path of propagation.

Prabhat Tiwari 4 years, 3 months ago

It is transverse in nature and does required medium for travelling

Torque= pEsin thita

Prabhat Tiwari 4 years, 3 months ago

T= either force (qE) × perpendicular distance (2l) therefore ,T= qE×2l We know that dipole moment (P)= perpendicular distance (2l) × charge (q) means P=2l×q So T= qE×2l =PE = P perpendicular E Hence T= PE sin theeta

the electric field lines form a closed loop, these lines must originate and terminate on the same charge which is not possible because electric field lines always move from positive to negative. ... Therefore, we say electrostatic field lines never form closed loops.

Krishan Kumar 4 years, 4 months ago

Ok

Sameer Kumar Tagore 4 years, 4 months ago

If it is then it will contradict with the statement, field lines is emerges from positive charge and incident on negative charge ,hence it will not form closed loop

As in simple word we can say that potential is related to term " capacity " but in science potential is not defined only change in potential or potential diffrence is defined that is W(0 to infinity)/q. { amount of work done to bring a unit test positive charge from infinity } and it's SI unit is j/C

Bhumika Agrawal 4 years, 4 months ago

If we talk about potential then I concluded that "it is a qualities or abilities that someone can perform a task. If we talk about potential in physics language I concluded that it is the difference in the amount of energy that charge carriers have between two points in a circuit.

Sameer Kumar Tagore 4 years, 4 months ago

Potential difference is physically significant, so for defining potential we need a refrence point through with we can define potential at a point or simply potential ,a convenient way of choosing a zero potential is at infinity so we take a point at infinity say potential is zero this place and ultimately potentail at a point is defined.or simply it is a work done in taking a test positive charge very slowly or constant speed from infinity to a point.

Permitivity - The ability of a material to store electrical potential energy under the influence of an electric field . It is measured by the ratio of the capacitance of a capacitor with the material as dielectric to its capacitance with vacuum as dielectric.

Abhay Chauhan 4 years, 4 months ago

It's ability of medium
