Q/6 Eo as according to guass law flux is equal to q/Eo and it does not depends that where charge is placed. Here in this charge is q and here we have divided it with 6 because we are finding it from 1 face and contribution of flux from one face is 1/6 the total.

Electric field lines are the parth traced by unit positive charge when left free in electric field and tangent to field lines gives the direction of electric field.So if they will form close loops then the tangent at any point will direct in different directions which is not possible.Also, the unit positive charge moves only due to force of repulison and attraction and as a result traces only defintie path not circular path.

Since the net flux enclosed is equal to the one that left subtracted from the one that entered. So, ∆phi= 4*10^12-8*10^12 = -4*10^12 Nm^2/C Now according to Gauss Theorem, ∆phi= sigma q/epsilon zero i.e. Net electric flux = total charge/ permittivity of vacuum So, total charge = Net Electric Flux*Permittivity of vacuum Or sigma q= -4*10^12*8.85*10^-12 = -35.4 C
