Mutual induction means inducing EMF in one solenoid due to AC current flow in another coil...... MF generates which produces EMF in another ciol

Vikas Semwal 6 years, 5 months ago

Simply self induction meant inducing opposing current in a solenoid by itself through passing AC current

Riti Bansal 6 years, 5 months ago

Self inductance is current flow themself in ckt and mutal inductance is current flow in respwct to another coil

Chandra Kant Singh 6 years, 5 months ago

In self inductance, induced current(or e.m.f.) is generated in same coil having opposit direction to the main current flowing in coil.Whereas in mutual inductance, induced current(or e.m.f) is generated in other coil due to another coil in which the main current is flowing.

Cyclotron(accelator) is a device which accelerates the charge particle. It is made up of two hollow D's. First is D1 and second one is D2. These are connected with an oscillator and placed in magnetic field . Whole system is kept in free chamber(vaccum). When a charge particle is kept in this system the two hollow D's changes the polarity one by one and charge particle starts accelerating.

Yogita Ingle 6 years, 5 months ago

Cyclotron:

  • Cyclotron is a device used to accelerate charged bodies to very high velocities (or high kinetic energies) using crossed (or mutually perpendicular) electric and magnetic fields
  • Cyclotron is based on the independency of frequency (of rotation of charged particle) on the energy (velocity) and radius (of revolution) of charged particle. The motion of charge , electric field, and the magnetic field are mutually perpendicular(θ= 90°), so:

fc = 1/T = qB(sinθ)/(2πm) = qB/(2πm)

  • Cyclotron is made up of 2 hollow metallic discs D1 and D2, semi-circular in shape and an oscillator.

rms×Vrms × cos¢ = power and cos ¢ is power factor... During resonance condition power factor becomes maximum ie maximum value of cos¢ = 1

Sia ? 6 years, 5 months ago

Resonance by definition is a condition when capacitive and inductive reactances cancel each other, and circuit is purely resistive. So power factor of the circuit at resonance is unity.

The fact that electric field is always an integral multiple of electron is termed as quantisation of charge. Q=ne (e = charge of electron) & ( n=1,2,3,4--------,n)

Muskan Jangra 6 years, 5 months ago

It means charge on anybody is integral multiple of charge on proton or on electron i.e. q= ne where n= no. Of electrons ,e= charge on electron .

Khuskaran Sidhu 6 years, 5 months ago

A body can only have fixed values of charge i.e. q=ne,n=whole no.
